So, you remember how I skipped town and went to Florida a few weeks back? Well, I figure it’s about time to give y’all the scoop on that.
What: The National RUF Annual Summer Conference
When: May 9-14
Who: 26 UNL RUFers, plus something like 600 RUFers from other campuses
Where: Laguna Beach Christian Retreats Center in Panama City, Florida
How: “Sacrifice” a week (and a little money) and drive the 22ish hours (each way)
Review: Good accommodations, quality speakers (and topics spoken on), fun activities, great fellowship (and many excellent, usually late-night conversations)
